Gemini bath combines twin functions

Bringing a breakthrough in safety and convenience for both patient and carer, Gemini is the latest addition to the Aquanova range of rising baths from Abacus Healthcare Services. Designed and manufactured in the UK by Abacus, the Aquanova Gemini provides twin functions, combining the benefits of Aquanova rising baths with a new rising bathing platform in what Abacus describes as an unprecedented concept. The combination of button-operated bath and platform means that the whole system is fully height adjustable. A series of optional accessories includes a customised, 12-jet whirlpool. In launching Gemini, Abacus meets the demand for a bath that is completely adjustable to the carer¹s comfortable working height, as well as for easy access by the bather. Neither bending nor lifting are needed. This a particular advantage in paediatrics, enabling the carer to stand in an upright position while drying and changing the patient.
