Geoff takes editor’s desk at Homecare Professional

Geoff Hodgson has been appointed editor of Homecare Professional. He takes over from Jennie Davidson who has edited the magazine for the past three years. Geoff, a former registered nurse, is also editor of -Caring Times, the leading management magazine for the long term care sector, also published by Hawker Publications. “These are exciting time for the domiciliary care industry with a new regulatory environment and the continuing growth in private sector provision,” Mr Hodgson said. “Homecare Professional will continue in its important role of keeping the sector informed of developments and events, and providing a regular forum for comment and debate.” Editor-in-chief Dr Richard Hawkins congratulated Geoff on his new role and said Jennie Davidson had earned the respect of the industry for her professionalism and high editorial standards. “A highly respected editor, Jennie did much to establish Homecare Professional1s place as a significant publication for the domiciliary care sector,” Dr Hawkins said.
