GLP founding directors Simon and Fiona Gilbert are stepping back from full time involvement in the agency and valuation business. The couple, who started the business in 1995, are concentrating on a number of other business interests, but will remain available for consultancy work to GLP. GLP will now be headed by new managing director Andrew Long, who joined the Gilberts in 1996 and has helped build a successful valuation and business agency which can count Northern Rock, Bupa and NHP among its corporate clients. Mr Long said GLP would soon introduce some new strands to the business including a full design and build service. Jim Fogden, formerly of Chesterton, has also recently joined GLP.
