GLP makes senior appointments

Continued growth has seen specialist care sector consultancy and business surveying and valuation companies GLP and Taylors make three significant appointments. Ian Wilkie has been appointed as managing director of GLP, taking on responsibility for continuing the development of GLP’s services to the healthcare sector, building on the success of recent years. GLP has won a considerable slice of the corporate transaction market including the £100m Helen McArdle Care sale to Bondcare and sale of Ermine Care to 3i backed Care Principles. The company says it is set to build on that platform by developing further its services to corporate, private and public sector clients throughout the UK. Richard Smith becomes managing director of Taylors Business Surveyors and Valuers, having been chief operating officer of the company since GLP acquired the majority shareholding in May 2005.
