GLP takes majority interest in Taylors

Property and business consultant GLP has purchased a majority shareholding in Taylors Business Surveyors and Valuers. GLP managing director, Andrew Long said Taylors were recognised as the major independent firm of business valuers in the UK, carrying out thousands of valuations across a range of sectors including healthcare, hotels, licensed trade, catering, education and retail. “We have worked together with Taylors in the past and have a great deal of respect for the team there,” said Mr Long. “There is already a good chemistry between our two companies and there are fantastic synergies which we are all excited about developing in the coming months. Taylors is already a very strong, established brand and we believe there are a number of areas where we can jointly develop the business on that platform. We will be looking at all aspects of the product and service to see where the opportunities for those advancements might be.” Mr Long said Taylors would remain an independent brand with the existing directors
