Guardian Care Homes is to acquire Leys Park Care Home which is a 66-bed care home situated in Dunfermline, formerly owned by Craegmoor Healthcare. The home, which was to be closed, will now remain open and Guardian says it is working closely with Craegmoor during the transitionary period. Guardian Care Homes, which now has a total of 28 homes, providing more than 1,000 beds, will spend about £500,000 to provide single ensuite rooms as well as re-decorating, re-carpeting and providing new furniture.
