Guide aims to raise awareness in care homes of dementia with Lewy bodies

A new Alzheimer’s Society publication aims to raise awareness and understanding of dementia with Lewy bodies in care staff and health professionals. Dementia with Lewy bodies is a complex and unpredictable form of dementia that affects about 25,400 people in the UK.

An Introduction to dementia with Lewy bodies outlines the symptoms, diagnosis, support and issues surrounding this type of dementia.
