Hanover opens ‘care suite’ in Hackney

Hanover Housing has opened a new 24-hour ‘care suite’ in Hackney. Ashley Court, which is managed in partnership with Hackney Council and part of the borough’s Supported Housing with Care programme, was funded and developed in partnership with Hackney Council.

Five Hanover sheltered housing developments will have care teams based on site, enabling people with higher support and care needs to live in their own flats for longer.

As part of the new care suite, Hanover has installed a number of facilities including a new office, meeting room, kitchen and additional laundry.

Residents are supported by the Hanover ‘On Call’ service which provides a 24-hour emergency response. There is also an on-site care team provided by Hackney Council.
