Care home provider Healthcare Homes has acquired Wellington House in Stowmarket, Suffolk, bringing the total number of properties owned by the Colchester-based company to 22.

Chief executive Richard Clough said this latest acquisition was a perfect fit with the company’s current property portfolio. “Wellington House currently provides 20 residential beds but this will more than double with the construction of a new purpose-built two-storey extension” said Mr Clough.
