Heating: a single system with a focus on renewables

A quick look at the graph on the right, showing predicted global energy demand over the coming 40 years shows why anyone involved in designing new buildings – from terrace houses to care homes, hotels and hospitals – needs to give a lot of thought to how these facilities can best be heated.

More so than a laundry, more so than the kitchen, a building’s heating and plumbing system is very much ‘out of sight and out of mind’.
