Homecare appointments in Somerset

Not-for-profit provider Somerset Care has made two senior appointments within its homecare company, Somerset Care at Home. Ellen Smith has joined the company as regional manager for South Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset and Wiltshire, and will be based in her home town of Frome. Chris Rendell is area manager for West Somerset and will be based at Minehead. Based in Taunton, Somerset Care is one of the biggest not-for-profit care companies in the UK, operating 45 care homes which provide care for more than 1,300 elderly residents and adults with learning disabilities. Through its homecare companies “Care at Home” and “Echoes Community Care” Somerset Care provides more than 20,000 hours of community care every week of the year in Somerset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset, Devon and on the Isle of Wight.
