Homecare provider Independent Living Services Ltd (ILS) based in Alloa, central Scotland, has acquired Home Concern (Scotland) Ltd. ILS was advised in the deal by Hazlewoods LLP. The purchase gives the company a strong presence in the west of Scotland to complement its own area of focus – the east, and makes ILS one of the biggest homecare providers in Scotland with an annual turnover of £10million. ILS says it plans to develop and grow the business both organically and by acquiring strategically positioned partner businesses in Scotland and northern England. ILS is backed by ISIS Equity Partners and Bank of Scotland.
