Dementia Strategy moves a step closer with launch of consultation
Launched by care minister Ivan Lewis in June, the consultation on the National Dementia Strategy has been welcomed by probably every organisation with any connection to social care. The reaction submitted by the National Care Forum (NCF) which represents not-for-profit providers, is fairly representative of the dozens of responses received by Caring Times. While welcoming the consultation, NCF chief executive Des Kelly (pictured) is both realistic and cautious.
