Intermediate care conference

Bupa Care Services medical director Dr Clive Bowman will chair Laing & Buisson¹s conference on intermediate care, to be held at Lord¹s Conference and Banqueting Centre on Thursday, December 5. While there has been scant commissioning of intermediate care provision by the private sector, many Primary Care Trusts, health authorities and social services departments are now developing new intermediate care services. Laing & Buisson says the conference will expand thinking and ensure some fundamental issues, such as staffing and governance, are not overlooked, and feature issues surrounding the mechanics of commissioning and the potential of intermediate care in dementia services. – For more information, or to book delegate places, contact Laing & Buisson on Tel: 020 7923 5348
