Plans are being put in place for the inaugural care sector firewalk in September. Managing director of Hallmark Healthcare believes everyone can benefit from taking on the challenge of walking barefoot over hot coals. “All to easily we can be governed by self-imposed limitations,” says Avnish. “It is something we use to restrict us from doing what we’d really like to do. “Hallmark Healthcare has been using this style of training for six years and employees have reported many benefits including huge improvements in self-esteem and confidence.” Avnish is keen for others to take on the firewalk challenge and has been instrumental in organising “The Care Sector Firewalk” which will take place at The Renaissance Hotel, Heathrow, on Friday, September 15. Places are limited so early booking is recommended. Booking forms can be downloaded from If you have difficulty downloading the booking form, contact Vibe on 029 2039 4001. The price per person is £125.
