*RH:* Please tell us a bit about what you have been doing since your new move to IXIS CIB. “After three months sabbatical travelling Europe, and hopping back to the UK to watch the Ashes cricket series, I started at IXIS in Autumn 2005. Earlier in the year, I had been fortunate enough to have been invited by IXIS CIB to set up a new healthcare finance department specialising in the provision of debt facilities (both senior and mezzanine) to the corporates operating in the UK healthcare sector. “IXIS CIB is the corporate and investment banking arm of the Paris-based Groupe Caisse d’Epargne, itself one of France’s biggest banking groups. The group boasts 26 million customers and 55,000 employees across a network of 4,700 branches.
