Journalists Charity home has green credentials

Built in a green belt area of outstanding beauty, Pickering House near Dorking in Surrey, was designed by Cowan Architects to fulfill the modern aspirations of care home residents while maintaining the balanced landscape.

Owned and operated by the Journalists Charity, Pickering House (pictured below) is designed as a curve form which follows the contours of the hillside site, with a semi-basement sculptured into the site so it appears to be a single storey from the front and two storey to the rear, Pickering House displays all the signs of a state-of-the-ar
