Judge throws neglect case out of court

A judge in Bristol has dramatically intervened to halt the prosecution of four care home workers charged with neglecting elderly residents.

Judge David Ticehurst said that the way the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) had brought the case against the four was so flawed that it endangered their chances of getting a fair trial.
