Lancashire chooses Saturn software

Lancashire County Council has purchased the Saturn IT system supplied by Cerrus International for its in-house provision of residential, day and domiciliary care services to elderly people. The IT system will be implemented across 20 of the Lancashire authority’s residential care homes as well as care services headquarters in Preston. Lancashire County Council joins Kent and Hampshire County Councils in opting to employ the Cerrus’ Saturn IT solution in the past 12 months. Lancashire County Care Services finance manager Chris Horrocks said Cerrus’ Saturn IT software had been decided upon as the solution which would best meet current needs. “As the product is constantly updated, any future changes in the care market will be incorporated into the Saturn software,” said Mr Horrocks. “A further outstanding feature of Cerrus’ service was their ability to implement the software against tight deadlines.”
