Latest acquisition fuels Hadrian’s growth in the north east

Gateshead based Hadrian Healthcare, which sold its north-east portfolio of care homes in 2006, has come back to the north-east elderly care market with the acquisition of a development site in Whickham in Tyne.

Hadrian plans to develop an elderly care centre on the former Bank Top garage site which has stood dormant for a couple of years. Managing director Ian Watson said plans were being worked up to develop an around the clock residential facility for elderly clients with diverse needs ranging from assisted living to traditional residential and nursing ca
