| Law Society's concern for wills |
|
Caring Times, February 2010
|
| Dec 14: The Law Society is warning that high care home fees risk many
elderly people being left with little or nothing to bequeath to loved
ones in their wills. Recent Age Concern and Help the Aged research
estimates that average care home fees are now around 470 per week,
prompting the Law Society to warn that many wills need reviewing to
take into account care residents depleting assets.
