| Dec 23: The Care Quality Commission (CQC) said that Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has taken action to address concerns about infection prevention and control and is now meeting minimum hygiene standards. The regulator added that it would carry out further checks on remaining areas of concern.
