Decs Group held a 'Topping Out' ceremony in December at their latest care home development in Nantwich.
The event was attended by the client Phil Burgan, Chairman of the Maria Mallaband Care Group along with Steve Pippard, managing director of Decs Group.
This new build 55-bed care home is well on its way for timely completion despite one of the wettest autumns for some time. The project commenced last summer and work has continued seven days a week to ensure residents could move into the building during summer this year.
By coincidence a similar event took place on the same day at another site being delivered by Decs.
Moorfield House in Irlam, Manchester, pictured, is in the process of being expanded, with the addition of a further 13 bedrooms and full modernisation package. The ceremony attended by the owners, Mr and Mrs Brown and Chris Johnson, Business Development Manager for Decs Group took place in between rain showers and just hours after the roof structure was finished.
'The chance of carrying out two identical topping out ceremonies on the same week, let alone on the same day is very unusual ' stated Steve Pippard, Decs MD. 'At this rate we will have to buy another silver topping out trowel!'
