Acting on behalf of Richard and Liz Gray, Christie + Co has sold the Olive House care home near Norwich to regional operator Healthcare Homes, for an undisclosed sum.
Situated in the village of Newton Flotman, about five miles to the south of Norwich, Olive House comprises 35 single en-suite bedrooms and first class facilities. Purpose-built in 1999, the home has been run since it opened by Richard and Liz, who have sold the business in order to semi-retire. The Olive House becomes the twenty-second home in the East Anglia region to be operated by Colchester-based Healthcare Homes, the majority of which have been acquired via the services of Christie + Co.
Robert Mellamphy, Director at Christie + Co, said: 'We discreetly marketed the home to a few selected buyers and the deal, which was by way of a company share transfer, completed on the 14th December.'
