Life Style Care plc has invested in a centralised billing system to maintain and improve the efficiency of their accounting processes over their 20 care homes. Formed in 1998 by Ramesh Sachdev, the company owns a portfolio of 20 purpose-built homes, caring for more than 1,400 residents with average occupancy levels of more than 97 per cent. Life Style¹s current development programmes include six further projects within the M25 corridor, taking their bed capacity to more than 2,000 beds. The scale and rate of growth of Life Style¹s operation has prompted the need to develop a strategic platform for the company¹s financial and administrative systems in order to continuously improve the quality of service to their clients. The £250,000 contract has been awarded to care sector IT specialists Coldharbour Systems. Life Style says the decision was taken after intensive internal assessment and following recommendations from other operators in the sector.
