The National Care Managers Aassociation has appointed Matthew Whittingham as its new chief executive. Mr Whittingham said that, with the help of the NCMA committee, he hoped to build on the good foundations already laid by the organisation and continue to strive toward the NCMA¹s goal of improving standards of care. “Now more than ever, there is a need for an organisation such as the NCMA,” Mr Whittingham said. “With such upheaval caused by the changes to the system past, present and future, the need for help, advice or just knowing that someone is there should you need them, has never been greater. I am only a phone call or e-mail away.” – Matthew Whittingham can be contacted at m.whittingham@mcna.co.uk or Tel: 0870 0052577
