Shrewsbury based Morris Care has appointed Margaret Maudsley as its new chief executive, a position which will see her overseeing the running of the company’s four care homes located throughout Shropshire and Cheshire.

Mrs Maudsley brings to her role more than 14 years’ experience in the care industry, having started her career in the financial area of the care sector.

“I am delighted to be joining Morris Care at a very exciting time, with its thriving existing homes and the major new projects underway,” said Mrs Maudsley.

“As an individual, I strive to always achieve the very best in all that I do and I hope to be able to bring this energy and passion to my role and to ensure that Morris Care reaches the top in all it aspires to achieve.”

Mrs Maudsley will be closely involved in Morris Care’s new venture, the development and construction of Isle Court, a new care home currently being built in Shrewsbury.
