McLintock is new chief of AgeCare
Ian McLintock has been appointed as chief executive of AgeCare, following the retirement of Michael Corp. The charity, formerly the Royal Surgical Aids Society, owns five care homes in England and, in recent years, has developed a work based professional training programme for those working in care homes, which has been adopted by numerous organisations. Mr McLintock’s role will be to provide strategic direction for Agecare. While this is his first full-time appointment within the charity sector, Mr McLintock has been involved in charitable work on a voluntary basis for many years, particularly with disabled people. He joins AgeCare from the Ministry of Defence where he was employed as head of finance and business planning at an RAF base.
