Media bouquet for Barchester

Just nudged out of top position by accountancy giant KPMG, major care provider Barchester Healthcare has been ranked as number two in the _Sunday Times_ 2006 Top 20 Best Big Companies To Work For listing published on March 5. The list is a key benchmark against which UK companies are judged by their employees and gives the opportunity to recognise businesses that value their staff, look after their clients and work in partnership with the communities in which they operate. Barchester Healthcare came top in the categories of “My Company” and “My Manager” and within the top three for leadership and training and development. Barchester managing director Mike Parsons said the number two listing was an accolade that all at Barchester were extremely proud of. “I would like to think we can set an example to the healthcare sector as a whole, and that we will continue to attract and inspire the best prospective employees, building on the great work that is done already,” said Mr Parsons. “The nearly 13,0
