Meridian Healthcare has selected Coldharbour Systems as its strategic IT partner. Providing care for more than 1,000 people across six counties in the UK, Meridian is continuing to expand the services and locations in which it operates, concentrating on acquisitions and development opportunities in the North of England. The company recently acquired two nursing facilities and is set to open a new flagship care centre in Knowsley in July. Following a detailed review of their existing system strategy and potential upgrade options, group finance director Barry Brooks and his senior finance team embarked upon a detailed four month evaluation of potential IT providers. “In selecting Coldharbour Systems Ltd as our strategic IT partner, we are investing in 18 years’ specific care market experience which is reflected in the functionality and reporting capabilities of their systems,” said Mr Brooks.
