Milkwood Care has spent more than £1m in extending Ganarew House nursing home (pictured below) in Monmouthshire from 17 to 32 beds. The care group currently owns and operates six care homes across Hampshire and Wales with a total of 213 beds. In addition to almost doubling the registration, the existing rooms have been upgraded and a new pyramid-roofed conservatory has been added to the home, plus a patio with sitting area and an 18 space car park. The Milkwood group is currently extending Applewood House near Basingstoke and has plans to acquire more homes this year.
