Modulo wheelchair is lightweight, manoeuvrable and folds away easily

Remploy¹s newly launched, all day, comfort chair, “Modulo”, has now been successfully crash tested. Modulo is described as one of the most versatile manual and adjustable all day wheelchairs available today ­ complete with multi-positioning backrest angle through six points to a maximum 50 degree angle. “Modulo reclines and supports the entire body, is lightweight in construction and well-balanced, enabling the frailest of people to push a patient in it while manoeuvrability of the chair facilitates optimum ease of use for the self propelled,” says Remploy. “The foldable chair is also fitted with quick release wheels and a safety stand for easy occupant transfer, and fits easily into a standard hatchback car. “Other attributes of the chair are: adjustable padded wraparound and contoured headrest, backrest fitted with a body shaped cushion, padded lateral supports and fully adjustable and detachable foot, leg, seat, arm, torso, neck, back and head supports.” The Modulo is just one of many products available
