More care homes for northern provider

Leeds-based Maria Mallaband Nursing Homes Ltd has added four care homes to its portfolio ­ Corinthian Care Ltd which operates a nursing home in Upper Wortley, Leeds; Hope Green Residential Home Ltd, which owns and operates a nursing home in Adlington, Cheshire; Alexandra Care Homes Ltd, which owns and operates a nursing home in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, and Rosedale in Catterick Garrison. With an annual turnover of about £16 million, the Maria Mallaband group, currently operates 16 care homes, housing 820 elderly people. The group is run by Phil Burgan (chairman), Paul Higgins (finance director) and Maria Twarowski (managing director).
