Emap has announced the merger of the Naidex event and Rehab & Care, in response to increasing demand within the healthcare industry for one united, national show. Emap Healthcare¹s commercial director Fraser Murdoch said the company had been growing its position within the sector over recent years with a portfolio, which included Therapy Weekly, Nursing Times and Professional Nurse. “The combining of the two events will enable us to focus on delivering and growing one major national event for the therapy and rehabilitation market,” Mr Murdoch said. As a result of the change, the Rehab and Care show will not take place in November. Instead this will now be consolidated into Naidex 2003, to be held on May 13-15, 2003.
