Care in Cornwall has purchased a new care home in Gloucestershire, with funding from NatWest to support the purchase price of £1.75m.

Husband and wife owners Helen and Paul Hutson have worked in the care industry for 26 years and owned the 25-bed care home, Benoni in St Just since 1999. The business, which also provides a homecare service, Kernow Homecare , was looking to expand and was introduced to the opportunity of acquiring the second care home by its banking partner NatWest, which the business has been working with since July last year.
