NatWest funds Woodlands purchase

NatWest Bank’s south east regional healthcare team has provided a £1.68m funding package to assist Wray Park care home owner Antony Coomb complete the acquisition of the 26-bed Woodlands nursing home in Caterham, Surrey. Operating in the care home sector for more than 23 years, Mr Coomb purchased Wray Park in Reigate in early 1992. Under his management, the business has developed substantially, providing care facilities for 24 residents and winning numerous excellence awards including three national awards, including Best Employer under 250 employees from Skills for Care National Accolades 2005. “The acquisition of Woodlands is a very exciting stage in my business strategy and would not have been possible to achieve without the financial assistance, guidance and support of NatWest,” said Mr Coomb. “The healthcare team at NatWest were integral to this phase of my business strategy and were on hand to support me with industry specific financial advice to assist me with the intricate commercial transact
