NCF: figures show the not-for-profits out-perform private sector providers

National Care Forum (NCF), the representative body for not-for-profit providers, says it has obtained information which confirms data from the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) which, says the NCF, consistently shows not-for-profit providers to be out-performing both the private and public sectors for quality of care and meeting the National Minimum Standards.

NCF executive director Des Kelly said the indicative ratings for all adult services in England has shown the not-for-profit sector achieves the highest ratings at Level 4 (excellent) and Le
