New care home policy from GR Patrick

Those who know their way around the care home industry will be familiar with GR Patrick & Company Ltd who have quietly, since the beginning of the 1980s, built a considerable reputation when it comes to insurance of care homes. “The origin of much of the style and cover that is available today in care home insurance packages can be traced back to our innovations,” says scheme director Adrian Carter. “Our new policy, launched on the May 1, contains many of the market changes that have taken place during the course of the last two or three years in respect of terrorism, asbestos, e-commerce and other similar matters but, more importantly, includes some valuable additions and improvements to the policy cover. For example, trace and access is now automatically included as are increased public liability and malpractice indemnity limits at £5m for any one event.
