New chief for Brunelcare

Leading West charity Brunelcare has announced the appointment of David Herbert as new chief executive. Mr Herbert, 44, took over from David Venebles on June 7 but has been working with the Bristol-based charity since May. “Brunelcare has gained a reputation for innovation over the years and that’s something I want to foster,” said Mr Herbert, who has a maths degree from Cambridge and has spent the last 20 years working in the insurance industry.
