NHS Trusts value quick response

More than 50 NHS trusts across the country are reported to be using IR Service Division to maintain and repair automatic doors and other access systems. Graham Holman, of the NHS Supply and Purchase Agency, said that three years ago the agency put he services out for competitive tender and awarded contract agreements with two service providers offering a national service to NHS trusts. “After evaluating tender bids we selected IR Service Division as one of the two service providers because of their competitiveness and excellent reputation in this market,” Mr Holman said. “As part of the national contract we agreed a four hour response for emergencies anywhere in the country and IR Service Division continually meets this condition, which is why more and more trusts across the country are coming on board. “Also the 10 per cent saving they offer to Trusts that sign a four year contract is also a major incentive to many of those joining.” Tel: 01527 514000 Email: ircustomerservice@eu.irco.com
