North Yorkshire providers angry at proposed 1% increase in fees

Care providers in North Yorkshire are both angry and demoralised at the continued under funding of care for vulnerable people in the county.

The 1% proposed increase in the fee rate paid by North Yorkshire County Council for care services provided by care homes and care at home services has been called ‘a slap in the face for providers’ who had asked for 6.75% to keep pace with increased costs.
