Oasis ­ a better bed bath

Following a successful launch, Reed Shilling Healthcare has now established distributors in both the UK and European healthcare market for their new Oasis bed bath. Oasis bed bath is a pre-moistened cleansing wipe, which was developed to provide a safer alternative for people who require warm body cleansing while bedridden or requiring partial assistance, and is said to be particularly useful for patients with contractures, elderly people and people with a disability who find it difficult to take a bath or shower. Reed Shilling marketing manager Sharon Englefield said Oasis bed bath gently cleanses and moisturises. “At pH5.5 it is balanced to the natural acidity of the skin,” Ms Englefield said. “As we age our skin becomes drier and elderly people are more likely to suffer irritated skin, which can lead to pressure sores.
