Old Vicarage has the Edge

The Old Vicarage care home in Leigh, near Sherborne in Dorset has won the ‘South West Small Organisation Edge Employer Award 2006’ and £5,000 to re-invest in staff training. The Edge Employer Awards have been created to promote vocational training and to reward employers who provide excellent training opportunities for their staff. Research commissioned by Edge shows that 67 per cent of employers believe that school and college leavers do not have the necessary practical skills valued by employers.
