The corporate healthcare division of specialist property agents Christie & Co has reported the recent sale of the Penang care home group, based in Hastings and St Leonards, East Sussex. The group was sold on behalf of Mr and Mrs Tagoe to the acquisitive Communitas Group, based in New Romney, Kent, headed by Mr J Fuller. David Beecham, Christie & Co¹s corporate healthcare director, who negotiated the sale, said the Penang group comprised four homes registered for 30 adults with learning disabilities together with a day centre located in Hastings and St Leonards. “The sale generated considerable interest from corporate buyers and demonstrates the significant demand being experienced for Learning Disability Groups,” Mr Beecham said.
