Pierce negotiates Bristol deal for Carefore

Blackburn-based accountancy and business advisory group Pierce has helped Lancashire businessman Ken Nolan to expand his care home business into the south west.

Mr Nolan has bought Riversway Care Ltd, based in Bristol, in a multi-million-pound deal. Riversway, a nursing and rehabilitation care home with 69 beds and 100 staff, was formerly owned by two brothers – Glen Grant, and the Rev. Gregory Grant together with Ken Nolan, who each owned one third of the business.
