Pressbeau Limited has acquired Greathed Manor, a Grade II listed stately manor set in five acres of land, for conversion into a premium nursing home with financial backing of £1.5m from The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).

Greathed has a colourful history and longstanding associations with the Royal Family; it was owned by the Astor Family, and in its heyday, George V would bring along the entire family, including the then Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret for picnics and tennis parties at the Manor.
