Priory Group expands secure division

In response to the need for increased nationwide provision of its specialist services, independent provider of specialist mental health care, neuro-rehabilitation and special education services, the Priory Group, is expanding its Priory Grange secure division with the launch of the Priory Grange in Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire this November, and the Priory Grange in Bristol, scheduled for Autumn 2004. Priory Group chief executive Dr Chai Patel said his company¹s expansion strategy over the next 12 months would focus primarily on increasing the group¹s range and quantity of provision, organically and through acquisition. “Rolling out the Priory Grange format from one hospital to five units by the end of 2005 demonstrates our commitment to this segment of service provision, and to consolidating our position as Europe¹s premier specialist healthcare provider,” Dr Patel said.
