Publishers launch Care Expo as the long term care sector’s premier event

Two of the long term care sector’s leading publishers are joining together to run what will be the sector’s premier event, *Care Expo.* *Laing and Buisson (Conferences) Ltd* and *_Caring Times_* will jointly run a national exhibition with linked conferences and events on *June 13-14 2001* at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham. William Laing, founding director of Laing & Buisson, and Dr Richard Hawkins, editor-in-chief of _Caring Times_, have researched the market extensively and concluded that there is a need for a national exhibition with linked conferences run by publishers with extensive knowledge of the long term care sector. They have also concluded that Birmingham would be the ideal location for 2001. “We have a vision” say the two publishers, “of a dynamic event which portrays the forward-looking nature of our sector, from residential care through assisted living to domiciliary care.
