Range meets all standards

Whatever a care home is looking for in laundry equipment, Electrolux says its new Generation 3000 range can meet it. The range includes dozens of basic models of washer extractors, tumble dryers and finishing equipment. With the choices of fuel and control systems, dozens becomes hundreds. Options include DBS ­ Dynamic Balancing System ­ for noise sensitive locations and heat recovery systems for maximum efficiency. Double stack tumble dryers help to save space in cramped laundry areas. “In addition, all commercial laundry equipment sold by Electrolux Laundry Systems to care and nursing homes is designed to meet and exceed all current standards including the Department of Health National Minimum Standards,” says the company. “These standards include, under Standard 26, the requirement for foul laundry to be washed at appropriate temperatures (minimum 65Å¡C for not less than 10 minutes) to thoroughly clean linen and control the risk of infection, and that the machines have specified programming ability to me
