Regard acquires specialist care group

Cheltenham-based specialists in long term care acquisitions, disposals and financing Hazlewoods Corporate Finance recently arranged the sale of Cerrig Camu Ltd to specialist care provider The Regard Partnership Ltd. Cerrig Camu provides care for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. The sale consisted of a number of separate houses and cottages in mid-Wales, each providing differing ranges of care and support for up to 40 residents. Regard has established a reputation as a provider of high standard residential services for adults with learning disabilities and has grown steadily since opening their first home in 1994. The company, which won the “Care Entrepreneur” category of the 2003 Care Awards, currently operates 57 homes throughout the UK. This latest acquisition provides Regard with further expansion into Wales and complements its current operations in Anglesey.
